I found a way to send eMail alerts of Members activity

Hi All,

Just sharing something on which i was trying to work-round.. may be most of you know it..

I was wanting that my members should be sent a automated email daily/alternate/weekly tyoe of a digest on whats happening and who posted what stuff on network?

Step -1 First Add this chrome extention and it will help you Find & fetch the "RSS Link" of your sites "Activity Feed"

Step-2 Go to mail chimp (basis you have configured mail-chimp 3rd party integration)

> Create new campaign & choose automation of blog post

Choose the List to who all you want to send emails

 

Next, Set the timing and frequency when you want to send...

Dont forget to customise your EMAIL SUBJECT - AS "Member Update" or "Notification" etc..

 

Customise your content, Design your email & You are all Set!

Hmm. This may work for some people, but not everyone. I think that if we had Feed Burner integration, this may work better. That way anyone could subscribe. Also, an official newsletter with highlights would help as well here.
