NC for Hire

Choosing carefully the questions you ask new potential members cannot be understated as they are not only the profile of the member but also a gauge by which you test their sanity and purpose for joining. This tips is to show you how to inject a little bit of wording into the block of text which those who sign up for your community will see directly above the profile questions.  You can think of this as a paragraph to inform them of something, a warning for spammers or which questions are most important to answer if they do not want to be declined.

Step One: Go to language editor and search for the phrase "Almost there! Just tell us a bit more about yourself."

Step Two: Add whatever wording you think is appropriate.  You can use the bold <b></b>, underline <u></u> and italics <i></i> HTML tags as well. Save and you are done

My golden rule for new members is this:  If they don't answer your profile questions they most likely will never contribute to your community.

I forgot to mention that you can also include your logo in that block as well

  • Hi Justin!

Thanks for your tip! As far as I have understood it's been created based on your experience running the community, so thank you a lot for sharing this with other creators :-).

    Best wishes,
